MCP Agent Tools · effective 24 October 2026
Who this covers
MCP Agent Tools is a personal gateway operated by John Bauche for his own use. It connects his AI assistant to services he uses. It has one user, John, and no one else can sign in to it.
What Google data it accesses
When John signs in with his Google account and grants access, the gateway can:
- Gmail: read and search his messages, add and remove labels on them, and create, change and delete drafts. It never sends mail.
- Google Calendar: list his calendars, and read, add and change events on them. It sends no invitations or updates to other people unless John asks for one and approves it.
How the data is used
The gateway uses this access only to carry out requests John makes to his AI assistant, at the time he makes them. The content it reads passes through the gateway to his assistant to answer that request. It is not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.
What is stored
The gateway keeps no copies of mail, drafts, calendars or events. It stores only the credentials it needs to reach Google's services for John, held as encrypted secrets by its hosting provider, and never in its source code.
Sharing
Google user data is not sold, and is not shared with anyone except the services that carry out John's own requests: the gateway's hosting provider, and the AI assistant provider he uses.
Google API Services User Data Policy
MCP Agent Tools' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Access can be removed at any time from the Google Account's third-party access page, which stops the gateway from reaching Gmail and Calendar.
